Bethany Bear's Preschool is a part-time, non-profit, Christian preschool in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood. Parents across the Seattle area choose Bethany Bear's knowing their children will be safe, nurtured, and loved in a preschool with strong academics.

We celebrate and nurture each child's individuality. We believe that when a child feels happy, safe, and nurtured at school, they develop a lifelong love of learning. Through play, academics, love, and a positive environment, our mission is to prepare our preschoolers for kindergarten and the world beyond.
Each child comes to us uniquely themselves — with different interests, backgrounds, family lives, and experiences. Our teachers joyfully foster curiosity, independence, and problem-solving skills, while instilling in each child a love of life, learning, themselves, and one another.
Our Teamwork Approach with Parents...
You are your child's first and most important teacher, and we're here to work alongside you — to know, understand, support, and teach your child together. At Bethany Bear's, we believe communication is the cornerstone of that partnership. Our teachers are approachable and accessible, and each shares weekly class news and updates.
We invite parents to volunteer in the art room and classrooms, share expertise that ties into our weekly themes, and join us for special celebrations. Each class also has a volunteer room parent. In February, we invite families to parent-teacher conferences to celebrate each child's growth.
