Our Mission and Philosophy

Bethany Bear’s Preschool celebrates each child’s individuality. We believe children who feel happy, safe, and nurtured at school develop a lifelong love of learning. Through play, academics, love, and a positive environment, we prepare our preschoolers for kindergarten and the world beyond.

Every child comes to us uniquely themselves, with their own interests, backgrounds, home lives, and experiences. Our teachers joyfully foster curiosity, independence, and problem-solving, while helping each child love life, learning, themselves, and each other.

Our Teamwork Approach with Parents

You are your child’s first and most important teacher, and we’re here to work alongside you to know, understand, and support your child. Communication is the cornerstone of that partnership: our teachers are approachable and accessible, and each sends weekly class news and updates.

Parents are warmly invited to volunteer in the art room and classrooms, share expertise that ties into our weekly themes, and join our special celebrations. Each class also has a room parent volunteer position. Every February, we hold parent-teacher conferences to celebrate your child’s growth so far.
